
5) RockStar Games Launches Updates for Grand Theft Auto Online
Following the recent release of the multiplayer version of Rockstar’s new Grand Theft Auto game, GTA FIve, players were met with several bugs and technical issues which have now been fixed by an update to the game. According to a message on the Rockstar Games Website, they were happy with the feedback given to them by their community, they state:
“Thank you everyone for continuing to bear with us since yesterday’s initial roll out of Grand Theft Auto Online – we’re aware that a variety of technical difficulties have made it difficult to get access and that the experience has been a bit less than smooth for many of you who jumped in straight away, so here are a few updates as of this afternoon to keep you all apprised.”

2) FBI Find Website That Trades Guns, and Drugs for Bitcoins.
The FBI have found a billion dollar black market website that allows users to buy illegal items such as guns, and drugs using the digital currency Bitcoins. A federal complaint was released on Oct 2nd that charged 29 year old Ross William Ulbricht with a list of conspiracy crimes allegedly committed through his website. According to the complaint the website’s revenue totaled 9.5 million BitCoins with a commission of 600,000 Bitcoins. Although the exact figures of the Bitcoins is always changing, authorities estimate that the figures are the equivalent of 1.2 Billion USD with a commission of 80 million USD.
1) Author Tom Clancy passed away
Best-selling author Tom Clancy passed away at the age of 66 on October 2nd at Baltimore General Hospital. Clancy is known for the books that have been the inspiration for some of the worlds most iconic games and movies, among others the Rainbow 6 game series and the movies Hunt For Red October and Sum Of All Fears. His latest novel, Command Authority will still see its release in December this year.
