The Bird Actor Rod Taylor Passes Away.

Australian Actor,Rod Taylor has passed away at the age of 84 after suffering from attack on January 7th. Taylor is best known for his role in Alfred Hitchcock’s the Birds and the for voicing the character of Pongo in the Disney Classic 101 Dalmatians. He is survived by his spouse and his daughter.

Games of Thrones Season Five Premiere date released

Finally, Games of Thrones will be back on our screens, at least in the US. TV network HBO have announced that the show will return on April 12th 2015 in the form of a 10 episode season. Last year HBO renewed George R R Martin’s best seller for two more seasons.

The Father of Modern Gospel music, Andrae Crouch dies at age 72.

Andrae Crouch, known as the father of modern gospel, died January 8th 2015. He was hospitalized at Northbridge Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering from a heart attack. Andrae is well known for his work with Michael Jackson and Madonnaand making gospel music mainstream. He is survived by his sister.

 Skill extends a hand to Linden Lab
Skrill, one of Europe’s leading online payment companies have extended a hand to Second Life creators Linden Lab to improve the payment system of their virtual world Second Life. In a press release, released on January 8th 2015, states that Skrill will assist in serving Second Life users around the world by offering more than 100 payment methods through its Digital Wallet.

15th Annual Developers Choice Awards reveal Nominations

Peer based video game event, Developer Choice Awards, have revealed their nominations for the industry’s top games developers this year. Leading with five nominations is Monolith Productions’ Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, receiving praise for Game of the year, Innovation, Best Design, Best Narrative and best technology. It is followed closely by Creative Assembly’s Alien: Isolation and Bungie’s Destiny also nominated for multiple awards like Best Audio and Game of the year 2014.
