Linden Lab will be holding auditions for their music festivals in preparations for Second Life’s 13th anniversary. Second Life began on June 23rd 2003 and has spent 13 years developing from a lowly virtual world to one of the largest and most influential creators generated virtual spaces in the world.

The Second Life Music Festival showcases the musical talent that the virtual world has to offer. The Second Life website announced their auditions stating:

This year, once again we’re hoping to draw out all you guitarists, bassists, drummers, singers, tambourine shakers and other music makers to come audition for the festival. All genres are welcome! From bands to solo acts, opera to rock and roll – we encourage anyone to sign up for consideration. The Second Life Music Fest is an opportunity to perform at one of the biggest celebrations in Second Life, and it’s a paid gig!

If you are a budding musician and want to apply to check out the Second Life website. Closing date of all applications is May 26th 2016.
