When I joined Second Life, I was given a few places to get free items. While A&A’s market place store was one of them, another was a nice little place called In Her Shoes, and if you are not careful it will have you buying the whole store, although that is possible because everything in that store is 0L$. From Boots to Sneakers the whole store is free:
Go through the door and there is Vignette, a small shopping mall that has everything from hair to houses. I recommend going to In Her Shoes and Vignette if you are new to Second Life. It is a great way of getting quality items, without having to spend a massive amount of Lindens.
