The 4th of July 2011 marks 235 years of America independence. As some of you might know that America gained independence from the British on July 4th 1776 after fighting in the American Revolution and adopted the declaration of independence.

The US will be celebrating their independence with fireworks, BBQs and parties. Second Life won’T be any different. SL residence will be having their own celebrations!

Ohana Rock Club

Saturday & Sunday…..

The club is running a Pirate themed weekend. We will be transforming the club to fit to theme with a pirate ship as our main focus.
VIPS are invited to dress to theme over the weekend and we will be running various giveaways throughout the weekend including pirate themed freebies XD

On Monday in True July 4th Tradition… We will be decorating the club in Red/White & Blue.
We will be running three themed events on the day

9am – Noon Best Dressed in Red White & Blue
3-6pm – Best Dressed American Rock star
6-9pm Best Dressed American Movie Star/Character

There will be a combination of vouchers/lindens given away throughout the weekend as Ohana Celebrates July 4th in style

Summer Town, USA 

Celebrate the Fourth of July at Summer Town, USA, where you can do anything – from entering a pie-eating contest to joining the town’s marching band. Compete in the sack races, and then cool down at the ice cream parlor afterward. There’s animated face painting, water balloons and a slip n’ slide. Don’t forget to check out the fireworks display!

The Shelter’s Red, White & Blue

The Shelter’s Red, White & Blue is a formal event that will be taking place on July 3rd 7pm SLT – 8pm SLT. Newcomers are always welcome. Not forgetting Canada’s Independence day event on Saturday the July 2nd 1pm SLT – 2pm SLT
