I thought I would continue the theme of my last post and put together another outfit from some of Second Life’s best designers at no cost to you. In the end it was a lot harder than I had expected, not because of the lack of clothes, but because I just couldn’t source a great pair of shoes to suit. There are a bunch of hunts on at the moment and one that I have enjoyed for the quality of the gifts is the Zombie Popcorn hunt where I have picked up some great stuff – click here for their blog. I also have been completing the Depraved Summer Nights hunt which has also given me a few items which may pop up in future posts – click here for their blog; but alas no shoes that fit the outfit I’ve styled today, so you’ll have to wait until next time. However without the benefit of any Lindens (shoes excepted) I put together the following:
Today Steam is wearing:
Tattoo layer hair base – free from CaTwA on the Marketplace
Elli hair – fat pack group gift from Kvetla
Sunglasses – gift from Kumaki Glasses Style
Fexigore tattoo – Depraved Summer Nights hunt gift from Sonic Death Monkey
Gizza Grey lines long sleeve shirt – gift from Mimi’s Choice
Belt – group gift from Gabriel
Originals urban blues jeans – group gift from Just BECAUSE
Florida alligator boots – from iNEDIT at a cost of $249 – they are well worth the Lindens, great quality and attention to detail
Poses – Photo’s taken using poses free from Time Engineer on the Marketplace and edited in GIMP
Please do note the items featured were available at the time of writing at no cost (except the shoes), but no warranty is given that they will continue to be so – that is totally at the discretion of the Store Owner/Designer.
By the way, if you didn’t already know the Menstuff hunt started on June 3, (click here for their website) so watch out for more posts on gifts I find – I’m aiming to do all 150 stores, so my inventory is going to clog for sure!!
So until next time have fun and by the way, start hunting, it’s a great way to kick start your SL closet, you will get some great items (some not so great too but you’ll never know unless you go hunting)…
