Once Upon a time there was a man named Thom Kindred, he was recovering from a stroke so decided to leave the hectic life he led in London to recover in his home town of Shewsbury Shropshire. Little did he know that there were hidden magical mysteries surround the estate where he grew up and that he was about to uncover them.

Once by James Herbert is a story about a man’s return to his child hood home, to find that everything isn’t what it seems. Once is a fairy tale, focusing on the magical world that we can’t see as adults, but one thing is for sure, it is NOT for children.

Kennie is the first half of The Torch Entertainment Guide. It was her idea to start an off-world resource to help newcomers to Second Life, the project that later evolved into the website you see today. She loves books and virtual reality, she also has a rather unhealthy love for the future pop band, Mind.In.a.Box.
