So there I was at the gallery opening, surrounded by the all beautiful people as they mingled, chatted and lavished unearned praise on one another in search of social nirvana. Sighing with boredom and finding a quiet corner, feigning interest in the splattered paint surrounding me I looked around for the waiter…. where was my wine and cheese?
